Comindwork launches new set of enterprise-level features: Gantt chart visualization and Microsoft Project import.

A project schedule should be visualized in Gantt diagram for different purposes:

Tell the team what's the project breakdown structure
Visualize project progress for clients and external stakeholders
Track budget and task progress
Enable simpliest workload and resource management.

Read-only view

Basic read-only view is visible for whole project team. Any team member is only able to set progress for a task one's assigned to.

When a task progress is updated, project manager gets a notification. Remember? You're still collaborating, not working alone.

Manager view

Manager is able to create, modify and schedule tasks, set resources and budget. Either task-by-task

, or using he powerful inline-editor for Gantt chart. Online editor gives an easy way to change schedule without using external tools like MS Project:

Microsoft Project synchronization

Web-based tools still can't replace the offline Gantt creation tools. We allow Microsoft Project files (MPP, MPX) to be seamlessly imported into Comindwork project. At any moment you may re-upload plan file or export current plan from Comindwork to MPX file for better analysis or resource management.

Planning vs Execution

Though having strict project plan, any team member is still able to create their own activities, such as to-do lists or cases. And connect them to a goal in project hierarchy. In such a way we combine the flexibility of agile collaboration with managed and defined levels of project management.

This is exactly the functionality I'm looking for. I've searched a lot of PM software but noone quite seems to offer this functionality. If you had it in place for all of your accounts, I'd start trying out your service right away. Now I'll look elsewhere...

I like some of your capabilities but am frustrated by not being able to create tasks with subtasks (ex: 2.1, 2.1.1, 2.1.2, etc...), being able to assign specific times to a task (ex: 6 hours, 1 day, 3 weeks), and see and work in Gantt chart mode, be able to overlay all projects to see where demand outstrips resources, etc... Do you have any guidance for these features? Thank you, Robin

I also can't figure out how to view the gantt chart. It is enabled in settings and I am using a free account (which shows a + for the gantt row in the pricing comparison table. Please help.

This feature is now in beta mode, and we enable it upon request. I've enabled it for you, please turn on corresponding tabs "Tasks" and "Gantt" in your project.

Hi Alex,
I'm using the free version of Comindwork... I can see and add things to the Gantt... but it won't give me options to create graphs and visual indications of assignment duration. Is there a way you can enable that for me?

таблица Ганта - именно то, что мне обязательно нужно от подобной платформы. Пожалуйста, активируйте для моего аккаунта - spotconference.comindwork.com. (И укажите, что нужно просить об активации - минут 20 искал в настройках и в помощи, что не так, и почему таб Гант не появляется).
